Deborah Weber is not only an innovative and engaging teacher, but she is also an invaluable resource to the other teachers at Patriot Preparatory Academy. Over the past year, she has stepped in when one of the 4th grade teachers had to take leave for an extended illness. She lead the entire 4th-grade team, supporting the long-term sub as well as the other first-year 4th-grade teacher. She did lesson plans, grading, and even switched subjects from science & social studies to Math mid-semester when a new teacher was eventually hired. She has also gone over and above to support this new teacher all the while maintaining high levels of teaching in her own class.
