Mrs. TJ Potterf teaches Kindergarten at Cherrington Elementary in Westerville. She arrives to school daily before dawn. She puts her whole heart into making her classroom a loving, warm, and welcoming space and her students feel that. Her warmth spreads farther than her classroom walls – she greets and hugs students she doesn’t even know in the hallways, she thanks substitute teachers for coming to school, she’ll pick up trash or a scrap of paper from the playground, and she always has chocolate in her desk if you’re having a tough day.
