Kathy Vansant is the Orchestra Director at Reynoldsburg High School. She spends an enormous amount of time planning for concerts, organizing music, and keeping in touch with the students and their parents. If a student(s) is going through a rough time, Mrs. Vansant listens to their concerns, prays with them, and offers genuine friendship to them. She gets to know the students and always feels a little sad at the end of the school year when the seniors are saying goodbye – although graduated students seem to keep in touch with her. She also offers private lessons to all interested students. She conducts classes with professionalism along with sincerity. She has had to work through some challenging times in recent years, for various reasons, but still maintains the professionalism the program deserves.
